I just saw one of the saddest films I'd ever seen.

Requiem for a Dream is not only a great movie but I hadn't cried as much watching a movie since La Vita E Bella.
The movie's about 4 drug addicts and the series of events that lead to their destruction. What got to me was the mother, all she wanted was to be on tv in her red dress with her son...is that too much to ask?

As 2004 winds down I thought It'd be nice to reflect on this year-
Things that have changed my perspectives-

I saw a boob during the Superbowl
I saw Justin Timberlake grab a boob during the Superbowl (changing my previous belief that he was gay)

I began volunteering at PanAm Hospital if you want to know about my first day read this

Aside from the niece number 10, and my mp3 player not much has changed going into 2005
And since its the last day of the year and I never write anything about my friends I thought I'd take a moment to do that now (And so you dont think I'm putting you int he order of preference I'll just put you in whatever order you come out on my buddy list)

Luis- Even though you think we met in 6th grade because we had the same math class, we didn't, it wasn't until 8th grade that we started talking but enough about that. You always make me feel better by giving us something to laugh about.

Danny- It's been 5 years and if 5 years ago someone had told me that "the quiet gay kid in the corner" would become my best friend I would have laughed in there face, weird how things turn out? Well you should be proud I hardly ever keep the same friends for over 2-3 years, I get bored etc etc but you've always made me laugh whether it was Toy yoda, or "What do you think??" or "Ima go for it" or "I had her where I wanted" or "You stole her from me" we always have something or someone to laugh about.

Sean- You're too white for your own good

Marta- I still think it can work between us just holla at yo boy

Laura- Loose some weight

Viviam- You are also one of the 2-3 people that make me laugh, and I still don't understand how you are a pro-Bush, by the way don't worry about the brat he'll get beat up in middle school

Javi- Thanks to you I can get through English and Psychology without hating the class with my entire being

Alicia- Pumpkin, kind of ironic isnt it? The year I start talking to you, you decide to leave me. I'm sure you already know I'll miss you and theres no one in school that can fill the whacky conservative white girl void in my heart left by you, I hope you make the best of living in Orlando.

Steph- Honey bunny, I thought this quote from an old popular song summed up our relationship well, "If loving you is wrong...then I don't wanna be right" Even though you are 12 I'm sure in a few years we can work something out. I'm gonna miss your witty sarcasm and your banter with your sister at lunch, you were, my first, my last, my everything.

Susan- After a year I think I've finally grown accustomed to your slightly high pitched voice, I want you to know I never really believed you were white, I keep thinking one day you're gonna walk into class and pour water on your face and the whiteness will melt away and a sistah will shine through.

You can already tell what a pimpette she's gonna be, if anyone knows any single 1 yearolds let me know...and if I ever see her talking to a dirty 2 yr old wheeew Im gonna have a fun time kicking their tiny troublesome ass...Camila likes long crawls by the sea...curling next to a good Dr. Suess book by a fireplace...and for you crazy guys out there, she's a girl that can handle drinking, she takes her milk warm and chocolatey...so any single 1 yr olds out there gimme a call, you'll be asked a series of questions by me and if you pass the test you can be in the running to win a date with Camila

So as some of you know I volunteer at a hospital, but lately I have
been simply signing in walking around the hospital for a few minutes
making sure some people see me, then going to a friend's house and
waiting for an hour or two and going back and signing out today I did
that and...

was going through my pockets and I realized that I had left my meal
card in the cafeteria"

RIchies Weekend Movie Update

Well the weekend is over back to the daily grind tommorrow. I saw a shitload of movies this week so I decided to become a movie reviewer and ...well...review...these movies.

1st Finding Neverland
I didn't really watch Finding Neverland, I went into the movie 10 minutes late didn't know what was going on and walked out about 10 minutes later.

2nd Saw
Walked into Saw right on time and I must say...Goddamn what a good movie. I haven't seen a good horrow/suspense/freaky ass movie like this since....umm....I cant remember but it kicked ass. Don't know what else I can say about it except go watch it.

3rd Kinsey
Also a kickass movie about the professor who first began a study on sex in America. Back when people thought masturbating led to cancer, Kinsey's studies changed the way people spoke of sex and without him we probably wouldn't be where we are today regarding our knowledge of sex. Therefore, this movie was great go see it.

4th Christmas with the Kranks
I, being one of the 5 Tim Allen fans on the planet, actually enjoyed this movie, it was cheery and had a few funny scenes in it. However there was nothing memorable and I doubt anyone else would like this movie so don't waste your money.

5th Alexander
Well we walked into the movie about 20 minutes late (thanks Don) anyway the movie was hmmm terrible would be a good word. But for being a 3 hour movie it didn't feel that long and I had a good time at the movie. So my advice don't watch it unless your going with a bf/gf and didnt plan on watching it anyway.

1st Day on the Job

As about 3-4 of you know I began volunteering at Pan American Hospital today, I thought I'd make a log describing the day's events

3:25- I arrived at Pan American Hospital; received badge and where I'd work
3:30- Sign in...Met large woman in small equipment room; felt claustrophobic
3:35- Met crazy nice yet somewhat slow Cuban who was my "trainer"
3:36- Received first assignment; pack equipment (old folks diapers) onto shelves
4:00- Pack more diapers
4:30- Still packing...
5:00- Yep...packing
5:15- Look at watch...look at cellphone...return to packing
5:30- MY NIGHT(ress) IN SHINING ARMOR, Stephanie arrives and asks me to go help deliver newspapers
6:00- Finish newspaper delivery...return to packing diapers
6:15- Contemplate suicide by hanging myself with a chain of diapers
6:20- Think of ways to put poison or highly contagious virus in diapers
6:25- Think of ways to kill my coworkers with diapers
6:26- Think of ways to somehow monopolize the use of all diapers everywhere on the planet and breathe life into diapers then enslaving them thus creating an army of radioactive ninja diapers who would do my bidding and conquer the globe
6:27- Regain sanity
6:30- Trainer shows me how to deliver diapers to the work stations throughout hospital
6:45- Realize that plan to enslave diaper wearers is possible all I need is a radioactive Spider
6:50- Began ten minute countdown till I got to go to "lunch"
6:59- Begin spasming realizing the hour of freedom is upon me
7:00 DINNER TIME free food makes me feel good

Seriously though, everyone there was really nice and I realized I prefer working for crazy old Cubans than rich white folks, Carlos, my trainer, was great we stole some apple juice from old people and I got a cookie and free food, aside from the diaper thing today was a pretty good day. :)

Caution, this entry contains no amusing pictures or funny scenarios just cold hard truth.

This election has become such a heated topic even I, who thought I
hated politics became interested and decided to educate myself real
quick. I looked at both candidates and decided neither of them were too
qualified to run this country. Bush and Kerry despite
their seemingly significant differences are both strickingly similar.
Two silver spooning Yale Graduates who's only true differences were
their supporters. I can honestly say I don't trust a word either of
them say because, well they're politicians, so I will leave their names
out of this and use Democrat and Republican. About the election, the Republicans gained control of the House, Senate, Supreme Court, and the Presidency.
With one group controlling everything we might actually get things
done. I'm not so dissappointed that the Republicans won, I do feel in a
recession Republicans should be in office, they don't waste money on
the poor and the weak, whereas Democrats would
give away money they didn't even have in the first place. However, I am
a Democrat through and through. This time the election was fair and the
man the American people chose for president is in office. My problem
now doesn't come from the system, but the American people themselves. I
already wrote this in reply to one of Gus' posts so let me quote

"You know I remember when I used to be offended when someone from a
foreign country would say Americans were dimwitted but after this
election I'm starting to agree with them. For example, exit polls show
that Bush won over voters with the issues of terrorism and morals (gay
marriage). Yet coincidentally New York, who has one of the highest
populations of gay people and suffered the largest terrorist attack in
American history voted overwhelmingly for Kerry. Luckily the rest of
the country is far away enough from these things to make the right
decisions for these people, I mean you never know when a terrorist
might attack the highly popular Wisconsin Cheese Museum, or worse...one
of dem damn Gays might try and get some rights..."

Bored Sunday at 1:30 in the morning

Well I just got back from watching I heart Huckabees and I thought it was great. Sure it has no plot and such but I learned some cool stuff about existentialism and Dustin Hoffman is in it and he's a cool guy. I went with Danny and Roshana and a friend of hers then ran into Gus and Camilo AND ERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!(one day I'm gonna put her in a shoebox and she'll be all mine) and saw Marta Karina and Leonard (who told me they couldn't go cause they didn't have a ride, which is white man talk for we're going but we dont want no negros around, but I've gotten used to their discrimination) aside from that it was a pretty good day, I got to use Danny as slave labor when we built this entertainment center thing for the red room (by the end of this month the red room is going to kick 16 times the ass it did about 3 months ago) and from this point on I don't think anyone is reading this damn entry and you know why, because you're all lazy asses, the only times people really read these entries are when there are nice pictures to follow them along or they're short little meaningless sentences, so what's the point of writing all this, there is no point and THERE IS NO MOTHERFUCKING SPOON! Now I won't be your monkey go somewhere else.
